She’s the grounded “earth mama”, but Lucinda and Timothy’s wedding vows didn’t exactly get off to a picture-perfect start.
It wasn’t their personalities that caused the problems (although his bride’s free spirits took Timothy aback) but rather the weather elements at play.
Mel, the Founder and Creative Director of Unique Wedding Flowers, dishes what happened during Lucinda and Timothy’s much-watched wedding day.
“It’s always a very early start – the day we go to the location to set up the wedding, “she confesses. Bumbling along in the flower truck overflowing with flowers, we arrived on set and began creating a scene that every bride would love.”
“The simple white wooden arch windows were perfectly placed so as not to take away that gorgeous view at Rosewood Estate—Beechmont, she continues. “The colour of the flowers popped with a natural background.
She adds, “On the day of the wedding, we had three seasons in one—it started off windy and chilly, then the sun came out, then a storm rolled through, and then the sun came out again for the ceremony.”
